Vlerick Master programs

The Masters are all 12 month programmes and there are 3 different subjects on offer:

Masters in Finance

Masters in Marketing Management

Masters in General Management

The programmes differ from other Masters programmes as they are very practical compared to many other programmes.

Main Features:

1.Dynamic approach

Our faculty stimulate teamwork and active participation in class. Many lectures are built on real company cases or testimonials from entrepreneurs and business leaders from a variety of companies.

2. Real world in-company project

Before graduation, you spend 2 to 4 months in a company to conduct a consultancy project. This project challenges you to apply the theoretical concepts you have acquired during the programme to a real management problem.

3. Career services and placement

The Vlerick Career Services staff assist you in your pursuit of a challenging job through a mix of company presentations, job fairs, personal coaching, networking with alumni, an online CV guide, job postings and much more.

4. International study trip

During the programme, you will embark on three off-campus seminars. A 3-day opening seminar, a one-week international trip and a closing seminar to reflect on the past year. Previous destinations for the international study trip have been Dublin, Madrid, London, Krakow and Budapest.

5. Studying in the heart of Europe

Many countries claim to be “at the heart of Europe” − but only Belgium really is! Based in the medieval cities of Ghent and Leuven, you are less than two hours from Paris, whilst Frankfurt, London and Amsterdam are only three hours away.

6. Outstanding research and teaching quality

Our faculty members are not just academics. In addition to holding PhD degrees, the majority of them have also gained managerial experience in a range of international environments.
