CLASS FORMAT

-Accelerated 21 month program -- 10 sessions in Shanghai plus two trips to Los Angeles and one trip to another Asian country

-Attend class every six to eight weeks, in five-day modules spanning weekends

-Schedule allows participants to fly in from cities around the Pacific Rim

-The same MBA degree awarded to graduates at the USC campus in Los Angeles

-Conducted at top-ranked Shanghai Jiaotong University

REQUIREMENTS

-A minimum of ten years' full-time working experience

-Ability to participate dynamically in a 100% English-language learning environment

-A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution

-The understanding and support of your employer and family. This program requires a substantial time commitment.

DEADLINE

The USC Marshall EMBA Program will begin accepting applications on a rolling basis beginning October 1, 2008. The deadline for all application materials including official score reports is June 1, 2009. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the program within one month of their application submission. The first notification will begin February 2009. Candidates are encouraged to apply early, as the USC Marshall EMBA is a competitive and selective program. Applications submitted after the deadline may be considered, space permitting.

ESSAYS

1) Describe in a brief essay (do not exceed 250 words per section – 500 words maximum):

a) What are your current role/responsibilities in your company?

b) What are your post-MBA objectives? At this point in your career, how will an MBA

assist you in achieving these objectives?

2) Tell us about a challenging business decision you made, how it impacted your

company, and what you learned from the experience. Do not exceed 500 words.

3) Optional Essay: Please add any additional information that you would like the

Admissions Committee to consider in evaluating your application. Do not exceed 250

words.

For Re-Applicants Only:

If you have applied within the past two years, you are required to submit only one essay.

Describe any significant professional, personal, or academic growth since your last

application to the USC Marshall School of Business. Discuss your specific professional

goals and how the USC Marshall MBA will help you to achieve these goals. Do not

exceed 500 words.

TUITION

US $58,000 covers the tuition, materials, most meals during the class sessions, and lodging for our three overseas trips. Transportation for the overseas trips is not included in the US $58,000 nor is lodging in Shanghai for those who require it.
