PROGRAM LENGTH
Full-time MBA program can be completed in one year.
REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted into the SMU MBA, a student will have a minimum of 2 years experience (6-15 years recommended); proven academic ability; international interest or experience; leadership experience or potential; and community development.
DEADLINE
Flex-time (for the class starting in July 2011):
20 December 2010 (Round 1)
1 March 2011 (Round 2)
Full-time (for the class starting in January 2012):
20 December 2010 (Round 1)
1 March 2011 (Round 2)
18 July 2011 (Round 3)
We will inform you if you are admitted within two months of the application deadline.
ESSAYS
1. Why an MBA? Why SMU? Why now? (500 words)
2. Describe your greatest weakness and how you have tried to overcome it. (300 words)
3. Discuss an ethical dilemma that you have faced in your professional career and how you have dealt with it. (300 words)
4. If you could lead any organisation in Asia, what would it be and why? (300 words)
5. Please record a video response (less than 2 minutes, 10 MB max) to one of the two questions below:

Supported file types are .mpeg, .mov, .avi, and .wmv. We encourage you to submit a video response but if you are unable to do so, please provide a written response to question five instead (300 words).
