Abstract

In today's world many professionals find themselves working for small to medium-sized enterprises or even new ventures & startups. The communications needs and priorities that these organizations have are unique as they launch a new brand. With nearly half of all startups failing, an effective communications strategy is vital to the business growth of the organization. How a startup communicates with its audiences and markets itself is a key element for its success.

Through this session participants will learn how to create effective communication strategies in situations where resources are limited and in which it is vital to build corporate communications from the ground up. Attendees will come away with an understanding of how having a communications strategy in place can help a startup get funded and build its brand, as well as why communications should be a vital part of their business plan. The workshop will include real-life case studies of startups across the globe that are using communications to grow their brand and impact their bottom line.
