--for Non-Business Students

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• An intensive summer business-training program designed exclusively for talented undergraduate students and recent graduates with non-business majors.

• The Stern Advantage Program is a 4-week, 3-credit, full-time business immersion program, consisting of mini-courses in the key business disciplines of accounting, finance, management and marketing.

• Students will participate in daily (Monday through Friday) classroom lectures, case analyses and simulations, group projects, workshops, and company visits.

PROGRAM LENGTH

June 7-25 , 2010 (three weeks)

REQUIREMENTS

Although there are no minimum GPA or grade requirements, your transcripts and personal essay will be important factors under consideration.

DEADLINES

February 8, 2010 Course registration begins.

March 26, 2010 Priority deadline for summer housing.

April 23, 2010 Mail registration deadline.

April 24 - May 17, 2010 In-person registration.

ESSAY QUESTION

The Stern Advantage Program Admissions Committee will admit a selective group of students with a wide range of backgrounds, talents, and experiences. During the program, students will benefit from this diversity as they try to work out solutions to group projects or contribute to class discussions. Use the essay portion of your application as an opportunity to express your perspective, values, and character.
